If you’re looking for details of a celebrity wedding on Pinterest, you have no idea what you’re missing out on. Don’t buy them.
A lot of the information people share is harmless, a way to show and compare wedding plans and get a whole lot of engagement cake doodles. This is fine. But some decisions — like why major brands, like Emirates Airlines, are a no-go, and why few will be serving pear croissants at a bride and groom’s reception— really struck me. When it comes to the wedding, Pinterest is my kind of go-to for finding things to do in a city— I’m trying to work through all of them.
I’ve found a few things I like to do that aren’t on Pinterest’s wedding boards, though. We don’t always get to pick who we’re sitting next to at a restaurant, and that’s one thing we definitely don’t see on Pinterest. With that in mind, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite things that are happening in 2017 and that you might find yourself stumbling across, too. If you’re willing to look, I’ll let you know! I promise it’s not Pinterest.
