A new documentary called Drunk History Presents: A Vampire’s Tale includes footage of Josh Hutcherson, Ed Sheeran, Sam Rockwell and Gary Oldman re-enacting the First Vampire’s Tale, Michael Redgrave’s impressive performance, a classic cinematic moment. The filmmakers record the clip as it happens with two cameras, while James Franco narrates. There are plenty of wild, unpredictable moments that get cut out, including a night out together with Gaga, a debauchery reference to wine from Hamilton and the absurdity of a Patti Smith song about death. But the real comedy comes when the group pauses in the middle of a scene involving Hoyt Axton and his body grotesquely contorted in a sink, and walks around the waterfall nearby. Rockwell calls this performance “the disgustingest thing I’ve ever seen,” adding, “So painful to watch that I will never, ever see anything that even looks close to that again.”
